I’ll be hearing wedding bells in 2021!
Well, not for me personally, but for hopefully some of you 🙂
I’ve been laying low on weddings for the past 3 years due to having a baby, but I’m pleased and very excited to announce that I will be back full time in 2021!
I didn’t know you do wedding photography…
You also probably didn’t know that I have a sister company, Selina Cotton Photography. This is the company name that I choose to work under when I do weddings and events.

I’m the type of wedding photographer who loves to be there at the beginning of the day. I love nothing more than rocking up at your door at 9am and getting to know all the lovely people who are involved. Why? Because firstly, I love meeting new people and secondly, the more people get to know me, the more they relax in front of my camera and this is important.
The morning images are all about the little details and the hustle and bustle, capturing all of the emotions. I take so many photos during the day, but the ones I take in the morning will tie them all together to make a beautiful story.
Of course, once it’s time to leave for the ceremony, I make a swift exit straight to the wedding venue to catch the guests arriving and the groom looking nervous, I mean, excited 😉
I like to make sure I’m at the top of the alter, ready to catch the grooms face when he see’s the bride for the first time.
I spend all day walking around, taking photos of you, your guests and the fun you’re all having.
I always allow enough time for the couple to get some photos of them.
Before I know it though, it all goes by in a blur and I’m watching you dance your first dance as a married couple and then it’s time for me to pack up my little camera bag and go 🙁
So there we have it, a brief insight into my wedding photography.
If you’re getting married in 2021 and haven’t yet found your photographer, hit the WhatsApp button and ping me a message.
On a completely separate note; who’s doing the Elf on the Shelf this year? If you need some ideas to get you through, hop over to my friend’s blog, Sharon Nicholson. She is a newborn photographer in Aberdeenshire and she’s got some brilliant ideas to help you all out 🙂
