Pumpkin picking Fun at Lotmead Farm!
If you’re wondering what to do this half term with your children, then let me help you with at least one day – have you ever been to Lotmead Farm?!
This wonderful little farm is packed with quite a few things to do; it has a fabulous adventure playground, a small area of animals, a farm shop, complete with cafe and a vast array of pick your own fruit and vegetables – and in particular this season, pumpkins.
For the first time, Lotmead farm have decided to open their gates to the public and hold a pumpkin picking event, it really won’t disappoint!
I spent a whole day there on Sunday for my pumpkin mini sessions event and all I could see were children having an amazing time (with possibly a few screaming because they didn’t want to leave, but we’ll gloss over that bit).
You start your journey when you arrive by picking your cart and heading out through the spooky tunnel towards the pumpkin patch. You don’t actually pay for anything until you’ve found your pumpkin and If you buy a pumpkin, you get free admission into the rest of the farm – bonus!
There is also a competition to find all of the naughty pumpkins around the farm – so keep an eye out for those too.
All in all, this really is a lovely way to spend your day, so wrap up warm and get yourselves over there 🙂
Lotmead Farm is open 7 days a week from 10am. Last admission is at 4pm. Please visit their website for more information: https://www.lotmead.co.uk
Have fun and happy Halloween!
P.S. My friend, Marie who is an amazing family photographer in Bromsgrove has blogged about family photo sessions, so please give it a read if you have a sec xx
